Day I. Tbilisi
Tbilisi is the capital and the largest city of Georgia, lying on the banks of the Mtkvari River. The city was
founded in the 5th century AD.
Because of its strategic location on the crossroads between Europe and Asia, throughout history Tbilisi
was a point of contention between various empires.
Walking tour in Old Tbilisi:
Abanotubani - Shardeni Street – Sioni Cathedral - The Bridge of Peace - Rike Park – Narikala Fortress -
Metekhi Church - Holy Trinity Cathedral.

Day II. Tbilisi-Mtskheta
Mtskheta – the oldest  city in Georgia, the first capital of the country. It is located near the rivers
Mtkvari and Aragvi, 20 kilometres north of Tbilisi.
After having breakfast in hotel we will go to Mtskheta, where we will visit: Jvari Monastery,
Svetitskhoveli cathedral, Samtavro monastery and Uplistsikhe - an ancient rock-hewn town.

Day III. Tbilisi-Kakheti
Kakheti - one of the most beautiful historical regions of Eastern Georgia. The ancient homeland of
viticulture and winemaking. About 80 unique varieties of grape are found there.
After having breakfast in hotel, we will go to Kakheti, where we will visit: David Gareja monastery
complex, Sighnaghi - a brand city in the Kakheti Region and Bodbe Monastery.

Day IV. Hiking in the Kazbegi mountains
Kazbegi - one of the most beautiful mountainous regions of Georgia. It is located in the river Tergi
Gorge, at the foot of the Mkinvartsveri (glacier) 1750 meters above sea level. The region is rich in lakes,
glaciers and mineral springs.
After having breakfast in hotel, we will go to Kazbegi, where we will visit: Ananuri Fortress,  a small town
Stepantsminda and Gergeti Trinity Church.

Day V. Tbilisi-Kutaisi
Kutaisi - is the second industrial and cultural city of Georgia. It  is located  on both sides of the River
Rioni, 125-300 meters above sea level. It is called “The city of May and roses”.
After having breakfast in hotel, we will go to Kutaisi, where we will visit: Bagrati Cathedral, Gelati
Monastery, Motsameta Monastery and Sataplia Cave.

Day VI. Tbilisi-Akhaltsikhe
Akhaltsikhe - The beautiful small town with  with a big history , located in the south-west of Georgia.
Historically, the town had a strategic location.
After having breakfast in hotel, we will go to Akhaltsikhe, where we will visit: Akhaltsikhe (Rabati Castle),
Sapari Monastery and Vardzia.
